Introduction

This article contains safety information and instructions for the proper use of the turfRad sensor. Read through the article or download the PDF. 

Safety Precautions

  • Do not expose the sensor to flammable sources.
  • Do not open the sensor; internal parts are not user-serviceable.
  • Do not connect the sensor to any power source supplying more than 18 V DC.

Care and Maintenance

  • The sensor housing is waterproof and may be rinsed with a hose.
  • If the sensor becomes dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents such as acetone.
  • Do not mix bleach or cleaners when cleaning the sensor.
  • If the sensor appears to malfunction, contact your distributor or Submit a Support Ticket.

  • Ensure that this product is fully assembled before use. Check that all screws and bolts are tightened and inspect them regularly.
  • Models may vary depending on the country.
