- Will I Lose turfRad Data If I Reset My Wi-Fi or Sensor?
No, resetting your Wi-Fi or restarting the turfRad sensor will not delete scans — even if they haven’t uploaded yet.
turfRad temporarily stores scans on the sensor until they can be uploaded to the turfRad Cloud.
If Wi-Fi is reset or changed
-
The sensor may pause uploads until it’s reconnected
-
Scans already collected remain stored on the sensor
-
Once Wi-Fi is restored, pending scans upload automatically
-
Previously uploaded data remains available in the Portal
If the sensor is restarted or reset
-
Restarting or power-cycling the sensor does not erase stored scans
-
After reconnection and setup, the sensor resumes uploading normally
Important
Scans appear in the turfRad Portal only after upload.
