Red edges around some of my fairways/tee box/greens/bunkers

When the turfRad sees taller grass, or dryer areas such as a bunker, the readings will be lower. Taller grass shows higher readings due to the surface interaction of the microwaves, this is why we draw boundaries around your fairways.

A small amount of red edge effect can continue even with perfectly adjusted boundaries due to GPS inaccuracy. A small amount of this effect is unavoidable but does not impact your statistics significantly.
