- Legacy OTA Update

Sensors that shipped before 2025 (Serial number less than 400) require a firmware update to overcome major security changes required by our cloud solution provider. If your sensor has not uploaded since prior to 2025 and you have files pending to upload, you may need to run the Legacy OTA update procedure in the turfRad mobile app.  

1. Go to the Sensor Status screen.
2. At the bottom of the screen, you find the Force legacy OAT update.
3. Click "Start".
4. You will see the OAT Fix Progress; click "Start".
5. A pop-up with "Sure To Start OAT fix procedure" appears; click "OK".
