- Overview: Map Measurement Tool

The turfRad Portal includes built-in Map Measurement Tools that allow you to measure distance and area directly within the map view. This is useful for planning, irrigation checks, layout assessment, and general field reference.

Common use cases include:

  • Measuring wet or dry areas to understand scope and prioritize action
  • Examining sprinkler spacing and irrigation coverage
  • Estimating hand watering areas for labor planning
  • Defining management zones on greens or fairways
  • Planning applications (fertilizer, wetting agents, treatments)
  • Getting accurate measurements for material estimates in project work
